Larry Newman, Music Director

For more than two decades, the All Schools Elementary Honor Orchestra has brought together outstanding young musicians from public and private schools throughout the Los Angeles area. The annual concert celebrates their talent, dedication, teamwork, and joy in making music together.

Young Musicians Together

Elementary students from schools across Los Angeles come together to rehearse and perform as one orchestra in a memorable concert experience.

Teachers Beside Students

Many of the students’ teachers perform side-by-side with them, offering musical mentorship and encouragement directly from the stage.

An Emmy-Winning Tradition

Documentaries featuring the Honor Orchestra have earned five Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards in the Children/Youth Programming category.
